You are stranded in a huge junk freighter which picked you up in deep
space as if you were another piece of space scrap. Walk to the light
blue object in front of the escape pod and EXAMINE the OBJECT, it is a
warp motivator but it is too heavy for you to move unaided, proceed
south then east and walk over to the bucket lift at the right step into
the next bucket that comes along and you are carried up to be deposited
on a conveyor heading for a crusher, STAND up then JUMP onto the beam
above you before you are sent to the crusher. Walk west along the beam
until you enter the control room LOOK around then stand above the
grabber and ENTER the GRABBER, using the arrow keys move the grabber
east into the next screen. Don't hang about in the control room for too
long or the droid there will shoot you. You now need to get to the
piece of rail at the back of the screen so go east until you go around
a u-turn then continue back west on the back rail until on the screen
before the control room. Position the grabber to the right of the
vertical support then EXAMINE the GRABBER and PRESS the CLAW button to
lower the grab claw. If your in the right position the claw should pick
up the motivator if not reposition the grabber and try again until you
get it. Go back east and around the u-turn then stop right after the
turn and PRESS the CLAW button again to lower the claw and drop the
motivator. If your in the right position it should drop into a ship
below, if not reposition the grabber and try again until you get the
motivator into the ship.
Move the grabber west again until in the control room and position it
next to the ramp in the centre of the screen, LEAVE the GRABBER and
walk forward into the chute. You lamp in another compartment. LOOK
around then EXAMINE the LAMPS and EXAMINE the WIRES, go over to the
left of the screen where the wire vanishes into the wall and EXAMINE
the HOLE, GET the REACTOR then go to the ladder at the back of the
screen and CLIMB the LADDER. You are now at the bottom left of the
screen partly hidden by the junk, GET the LADDER then go north back to
your shuttle. Proceed east and walk into the tunnel, EXAMINE the WIRES
then GET the WIRE and continue east along the tunnel. You will now be
jumped by a space rat and the reactor and the wire stolen. Go back to
the place where you came out after climbing the ladder and LOWER the
LADDER back down. CLIMB down THE ladder and go over to the hole again,
EXAMINE the HOLE and GET the REACTOR and the WIRE again. Return to the
ladder and CLIMB the LADDER then GET the LADDER and go back to the
tunnel where you were mugged. Continue east out of the tunnel and
EXAMINE the HEAD, EXAMINE the EYES then CLIMB into the EYE to enter the
head. Here you find the ship into which you lowered the motivator. Move
round to the front of the ship and USE the LADDER to lean it against
the ship.
CLIMB the LADDER then move over to the hatch and OPEN the HATCH to
enter the ship. EXAMINE the COMPUTER then EXAMINE the FLOOR, INSERT the
REACTOR in the compartment and CONNECT the WIRE to get the ship powered
up, EXAMINE the COMPUTER again then ENTER the COCKPIT and SEARCH your
CHAIR to find some buckazoids. Type COMPUTER to bring up the computer
screen and switch on the radar, start the engines then take off. Once
airborne switch to the weapons screen and switch on the forward
screens, fire your weapons and you blow a hole in the side of the junk
ship through which your ship is ejected into space. Once out in space
bring up the computer and select navigation, select scan and resume
scan until you see the planet Phleebhut, select set course then return
to the computer and select light speed. The computer tells you when you
have reached the planet so bring up the computer and select land to
land on the planet, STAND up then PUSH the BUTTON to lower the ramp and
leave the ship.
Go north twice then east until you reach the World of Wonders, beware
of the poisonous scorpions in the desert on the way. Enter the World of
Wonders and SELL the GEM TO Fester refuse his offers until he offers
425 buckazoids then accept BUY the ORAT, UNDERWEAR and HAT then leave.
When you get outside you are caught by Arnoid the annihilator, but he
gives you a chance to escape to your ship if you can before he catches
you again. There are two ways to destroy Arnoid one way is to go west
then enter the foot of the model, move onto the lift and PRESS the UP
button to go up the lift platform, continue up the stairs then move
behind the hanging pulley to the left of the gear wheels and wait for
Arnoid to arrive, when he get level with the gear wheels SWING the
PULLEY and it knocks him into the gears and he is crushed, go down to
his wreckage and EXAMINE ARNOID then GET the BELT and wait until Fester
comes up with the elevator. Go back down with him then make your way
back to your ship. The second and better method is to go south, south
then east to a cave with pods hanging from the roof, position yourself
inside the cave behind the pods and wait for Arnoid to arrive if your
in the right position Arnoid will get to close to the pods and be
destroyed. Move nearer the wreckage but don't get too close to the pods
and GET the BELT WITH the ORAT, then make your way back to your ship.
Enter the ship and ENTER the COCKPIT, Type COMPUTER to bring up the
computer screen and switch on the radar, start the engines then take
off. Once out in space bring up the computer and select navigation,
select scan and resume scan until you see the Monolith burger joint,
select set course then return to the computer and select light speed.
The computer tells you when you have reached the Monolith burger joint
and you automatically dock with it. Once inside go west and go over to
the counter near to the assistand and BUY FOOD, choose item 7 then
AFTER BEING FORCED into further items PAY for the meal and go over to
an empty seat and SIT down, EAT and you find a decoder ring in your
burger. When you have finished go over to the slot machine and EXAMINE
the MACHINE, play the Astro Chicken game until a coded message comes up
on the screen, DECODE MESSAGE then when you have done this go back and
ENTER your SHIP it will be automatically guided back out into open
space. Type COMPUTER to bring up the computer screen and switch on the
radar, start the engines then select navigation, select scan and resume
scan until you see the planet Ortega select set course then return to
the computer and select light speed. The computer tells you when you
have reached the planet, type COMPUTER to bring up the computer screen
and select land to land on the planet.
STAND up and WEAR the UNDERWEAR then PUSH the BUTTON to leave the ship.
Go south then west and cross the crevice to the south wait behind the
boulders until the scientists leave then go over to the telescope and
LOOK THROUGH the TELESCOPE to see the forcefield generator. Go over to
the box on the right of the rock and EXAMINE the BOX, GET a DETONATOR
then proceed, east twice then north to the edge of the crater. Walk
around the right corner of the big rock in the middle into the crater
and go down the stairs, make your way east to ladder up the wall and
CLIMB the LADDER to the top of the wall. Walk carefully to the edge of
the generator and THROW the DETONATOR into the crater to destroy the
generator. Walk back to the ladder and CLIMB DOWN travel back to the
scientists camp as quickly as possible, GET the POLE from the wind
meter then go north and USE the POLE to jump the gap. Go back to your
ship and enter it then type COMPUTER to bring up the computer screen
and switch on the radar, start the engines then take off. Once out in
space bring up the computer and select navigation, select scan and
resume scan until you see the moon Pestulon, select set course then
return to the computer and select light speed. The computer tells you
when you have reached the moon, type COMPUTER to bring up the computer
screen and select land to land on the moon.
STAND up and WEAR the BELT then PUSH the BUTTON to leave the ship. Go
in any direction and you are outside the Scumsoft head quarters, USE
the BELT and you become invisible for a short time so quickly enter the
base. Once past the guards you become visible again, PRESS the BUTTON
beside the door and it opens and you go through into a circular
corridor. Walk around the corridor until you reach a door on the inner
wall, enter it and LOOK to find that your in a janitors closet. SEARCH
the CLOSET to find some coveralls then WEAR the COVERALLS and you find
a trash vaporizer, leave the closet and walk round the corridor until
you come to a door on the outer wall that does not have a keycard lock.
Enter this door and your in the Scumsoft accounts office. Walk around
the office and USE the VAPORIZER on any full waste bin that you pass,
don't miss any or you will be recognised as an intruder and dealt with.
Eventually you'll find a walled off office (its just to the right of
the two guys with whips), go in here and deal with his trash then leave
the office and go down the corridor behind it out onto a balcony.
Return inside and the guy in the office will have gone, EXAMINE his
DESK and GET the KEYCARD then go back into accounts and find a
photocopier. Near to this is a picture on the wall, GET the PICTURE
then COPY the PICTURE and REPLACE the PICTURE where you found it, once
you've done this make your way back to the entrance and leave the
office. Walk through the hallway until you see the door in the outer
wall with the keycard slot then INSERT the KEYCARD and USE the PICTURE
to open the door. Go through and LOOK around, EXAMINE the BRIDGES and
PUSH the BUTTON to extend the bridge. Go over to the two guys and USE
the VAPORIZER to free them. You are now captured by Elmo and have to
face him in the arena in a robot battle, use the "J" key to hit and the
"M" key to block Elmo's hits, use the cursor keys to move around. Once
you have defeated Elmo you run for and board your ship. You take off
but find that you light speed engines have been sabotaged, bring up the
computer and select attack speed then bring up the weapons panel and
select rear shields then wait, you can only attack the enemy ships when
the pass you after attacking from behind, destroy each ship in turn,
remembering to switch from rear to front shield then back again to face
each attack. When you have destroyed four the others will turn tail and
run. Return to the cockpit view then watch through the end sequence and
you have completed the game.
